Who are we?

Gateway Charity is a Christian Trust that was founded in 1998 and is an Associate Trust of Scripture Union. We work with children and young people, supporting teachers in schools in the Farnborough and Cove area, Hampshire.

What is our vision?

To provide an opportunity for every child and young person in the Farnborough and Cove area to hear and respond to the Christian Gospel.

What is our mission?

To represent the Christian faith in local schools, encouraging children and young people to explore the difficult issues that arise from the pressures of modern life.

Statement of Faith

The Gateway Charity fully endorses the Scripture Union Statement of Faith and adopts the principles on which it is based. You can read it here.

Gateway Charity is connected with different churches around the area. We have volunteers from 5 different churches and 3 different denominations.

Gateway Charity is an Associate Body of Scripture Union.

That means that Scripture Union endorses our work and supports our team of trustees and workers. The child
